1. What Is the FitTrainr Ambassador Program?

FitTrainr, LLC operates an ambassador program where participating fitness professionals and content creators (“Ambassadors”) may earn a commission when new users sign up for FitTrainr through their referral links or codes.

Ambassadors are independent contractors — not employees, agents, or representatives of FitTrainr. They share their genuine experience with the platform and receive compensation for referrals they generate.

2. What This Means for You

  • Some content about FitTrainr that you encounter online may be created by our Ambassadors who earn a commission on referrals.
  • The price you pay for FitTrainr is not affected by whether you sign up through an ambassador's referral link. You may receive a promotional discount through a referral, but standard pricing is the same regardless.
  • Ambassadors are required to provide honest opinions based on their genuine experience with FitTrainr. They may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims.

3. FTC Disclosure Requirements

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255), all FitTrainr Ambassadors are contractually required to:

  • Clearly and conspicuously disclose their material connection to FitTrainr in all promotional content, endorsements, reviews, or recommendations.
  • Place disclosures prominently — at the beginning of posts, in videos themselves (not just descriptions), and repeated periodically in live streams.
  • Use clear disclosure language such as “#ad”, “#sponsored”, “#FitTrainrPartner”, or “Sponsored by FitTrainr.”
  • Not use vague or insufficient terms like “#sp”, “#spon”, or “#collab.”

4. Our Compliance Obligations

FitTrainr takes its responsibility as a platform operator seriously. We:

  • Require all Ambassadors to agree to FTC disclosure requirements as a binding condition of their ambassador agreement.
  • Provide Ambassadors with in-app disclosure guidance, copy-paste disclosure text, and platform-specific instructions.
  • Reserve the right to immediately terminate any Ambassador who fails to comply with FTC disclosure requirements, makes false claims, or engages in deceptive practices.
  • Monitor ambassador content for compliance with our program guidelines.

5. Independent Contractor Status

FitTrainr Ambassadors are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or partners of FitTrainr, LLC. FitTrainr does not control how, when, or where Ambassadors create their content. Their opinions, experiences, and recommendations are their own.

6. Tax Reporting

Ambassadors who earn $2,000 or more in a calendar year will receive an IRS Form 1099-NEC. Ambassadors are solely responsible for reporting their earnings and paying applicable federal, state, and local taxes.

7. Report Non-Compliance

If you believe a FitTrainr Ambassador is not properly disclosing their relationship with FitTrainr, or is making false or misleading claims, please contact us at support@fittrainr.com. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
